Founded in 2007, Peak Ace AG is a digital marketing agency headquartered in Berlin, Germany. With more than 170 employees across its offices in Berlin, Paris and Nantes, the agency implements campaigns in over 25 languages at native speaker level.

Bastian Grimm

CEO

Bastian Grimm is the CEO of Peak Ace and a renowned expert in large-scale international SEO and AI for digital marketing. With over 20 years of experience focusing on large-scale, international SEO across highly competitive industries, he was named “Search Personality of the Year” at the 2019 European Search Awards.

Most recently, he has become enthralled with AI, ChatGPT and the plethora of tools that are emerging daily in this sphere. Strategising and theorising the best way to implement AI for your business has therefore become a topic that Bastian is passionate about sharing his knowledge on at various conferences around the world.

Thomas Bayer

COO

Thomas is COO at Peak Ace and has been involved in the management of digital companies for almost 20 years. Familiar with both the startup scene and the corporate environment, Thomas has now enthusiastically made the conscious decision to enter the agency world. Thomas started working with Peak Ace in 2022, but he previously spent ten years as a co-founder and managing director in the content and online publishing sector, as well as five years as Director Operations in a subsidiary of the Ströer Content Group. With his technical background, which Thomas acquired in the course of his studies in information technology, data, technology and automation topics are now among his central areas of expertise.

Julia Riml

Director New Business

Julia’s heart beats for paid media. With more than ten years of experience in PPC and performance marketing, she’s led campaigns for clients across a wide range of industries and built international teams in the UK, Germany and beyond. As Director of New Business at Peak Ace, she heads up a team of over 50 experts, identifying strategic opportunities, developing new service offerings, and building long-term partnerships. Julia’s approach combines innovation, collaboration, and a strong belief in the power of AI to drive smarter marketing. Named one of the Top 100 Most Influential PPC Experts worldwide, she’s also a regular speaker at industry events. Her leadership style is defined by empathy, encouragement and a passion for helping people grow.

Dominique Harris

VP Strategy & Innovation

Dominique brings more than ten years of experience in digital marketing to her role as VP Strategy & Innovation at Peak Ace. She’s responsible for the strategic direction of the Tech, Data & AI, Digital Strategy, Creative & CRO, and Marketing & Communications teams—driving cross-functional initiatives that strengthen brand visibility, engage audiences, and deliver measurable growth. Her focus lies in combining creativity with data and technology to create meaningful customer experiences that truly resonate. Passionate about digital transformation and performance marketing, Dominique regularly shares her expertise as a speaker at industry events, particularly on topics such as AI, data-led strategy, and innovation in marketing.

Isabel Stoof

Head of People & Culture

Isabel is responsible for “People & Culture” at Peak Ace and has more than eight years of experience in operational and strategic HR management. It was while studying Business Administration that Isabel recognised HR work as her calling. Having previously worked in corporate and startup environments, she was quickly gripped by the dynamics and drive of everyday agency life and has remained enthusiastic about it since. For over six years, she has focused on recruiting, employer branding, people operations and, in particular, people experience at Peak Ace. Inspired by the question of how collaboration can be constantly rethought and redesigned in a changing working world and in the dynamic everyday life of an agency, Isabel always works with one goal: to make the anchored values as well as the “people first” approach tangible both internally and externally. As a result of their hard work on this, Isabel and her team have already received the “Best Agency Culture” award several times.

Norman Knust

Head of Operations

As Head of Operations at Peak Ace, Norman is responsible for IT, facility and office management. Over the past 15 years, Norman has gained valuable experience in many areas, first in a large corporation and now in Peak Ace’s dynamic agency environment. His expertise covers topics such as IT operations and security, interior design and event organisation. When he is not using his knowledge and expertise to ensure that everything runs smoothly “behind the scenes” at Peak Ace, he is passionate about driving forward the topic of New Work and technical innovations in general. His vision for a better everyday agency life? A password-free world. Norman is also working on new, resilient processes that flexibly adapt to changing environmental conditions and thus also make everyone’s day-to-day work easier.
