Last night, the Global Search Awards hosted their 2024 ceremony in Krakow, Poland, at the Stara Zajezdnia Kraków. We were delighted to send four Peak Acers to attend the event, along with our nominated clients, and even more delighted to pack a total of eight awards into our hand luggage for the way back to Berlin, including two silver awards.

The main event
The Global Search Awards is one of the biggest events in the digital marketing awards calendar and the ceremony did not disappoint. When we arrived at the gorgeous Stara Zajezdnia Kraków at 18:00 for the drinks reception, we already knew we were in for a treat. The building was first established in 1913 and the unique architecture beckoned us in for an equally unique evening!
After a wonderful networking reception, we moved to our tables for the welcome from host Jenny Powell. There was no formal dress code and guests were encouraged to express their personal style in their outfits. They certainly didn’t disappoint. Everyone looked glamorous and ready to wait with bated breath for their opportunity to take to the stage and accept a glimmering trophy.
Without further ado, our host brought us to the moment we’d been waiting for: the awards announcements. We won three prizes in the first half before being served our delicious dinner (a feast for every dietary preference). As our dishes were whisked away, more awards were announced. In the second half, we won five more awards, bringing our grand total to eight!
It was amazing to be invited on stage and recognised by the search community while celebrating the other nominees’ work in such a beautiful setting.
Of course, just because all the awards had been handed out, it didn’t mean that the night was over. There was still an incredible after-party with drinks, music and dancing, where we could let loose and celebrate with our friends and colleagues from all over the world!

Peak Ace & TUI: Shaking up a travel giant’s branding
TUI tasked us with three main objectives: to strengthen their backlink profile, increase traffic and rankings, and enhance brand awareness. Our data-driven digital PR strategy, which encompassed 18 content marketing campaigns, focused on a multi-channel approach to reach a wide audience in prestigious publications.
Despite challenges such as the post-COVID travel landscape and unforeseen natural disasters, we exceeded expectations. Our innovative campaigns earned backlinks from high-quality news outlets, and our SEO strategy gave TUI’s keywords the necessary boost to outperform competitors.

Peak Ace & AutoScout24: Future-proofing automotive content
AutoScout24 partnered with us with the goal to bring car buyers to the platform through high-quality content. We aimed to increase organic traffic on transactional keywords, position AutoScout24 in the electric vehicle industry, and adapt to industry changes in search to adapt the existing website content and create a lot more – optimised, of course, for results.
Our skills and expertise combined with meticulous planning outperformed our goals, achieving significant growth. We increased clicks on vehicle type pages and guidebooks, increasing their visibility too, and strengthened the model pages’ relevance. Sistrix visibility also grew! This project stands out for being entirely content driven, without any additional technical SEO updates, changes or strategies involved, and the outcomes reflect genuine success, achieved through careful strategy and skillful implementation.

Peak Ace & Leatherman: The sharpest tools in your pocket – carving out a multi-channel strategy
The main objective was to achieve a high revenue target in 2023 while maintaining specific ROAS depending on the market and the channel. As a secondary objective, the client wanted to increase their brand awareness, especially in less established markets (e.g., Italy, Spain) and new customer acquisition. A full-funnel approach was necessary to increase sales, boost new customer acquisition and nurture existing customers. Not only did we expand into PPC upper-funnel activities by activating Display and Performance Max (PMax) campaigns, but we also utilised different Meta campaign types for presence throughout the user journey. With a couple of other strategic moves, our plan was up and running.
We overdelivered on all our goals and gained new customers while doing it. We earned significantly more than our revenue goal and achieved the same for our ROAS goal. Through clever creative and data integration across channels – and the utilisation of automation through KNIME and scripts – we effectively implemented a muti-channel approach that ensured success and excellent results in profitability and new customer acquisition.

Jon Keneally, Creditsafe’s former Head of Digital Marketing Europe, was promoted to Marketing Director for North America and needed help building out these accounts. Due to our excellent work for Creditsafe in the European markets, he decided to take us along for the ride. Our objectives were to reduce consumer traffic and increase sales qualified leads, improving the business conversion rate as well as increasing revenue. The targets were ambitious, but we knew how to pivot our strategy to meet our client’s expectations and enhance our service delivery to the business sector.
We overdelivered on all our goals. On average, CVR for B2B Leads increased impressively, as did sales revenue. Throughout the campaign we actively problem-solved, worked to improve performance and kept our focus on client satisfaction. We have delivered exceptional results for Creditsafe, leading to increased visibility, traffic, and conversions, and our work has had a significant impact on our client’s business, contributing to their growth and success!
