We think the Global Marketing Awards are a pretty big deal – and we’re not alone. They recognise and celebrate not only the innovation of agencies and their campaigns, but also their creativity, and are one of the most esteemed awards ceremonies on the scene.

We have a great history with these awards. Last year we took home 7 Global Marketing Awards, including Global Search Agency of the Year and Global SEO Campaign. It’s so exciting that we’ve been recognised again this year!

Peak Ace CEO Bastian Grimm says of the news:

“What an amazing achievement for us here at Peak Ace. We’re delighted to continue our legacy with the Global Marketing Awards and are so grateful to our fantastic clients for their close collaboration with us. Cheers!”

    Our winning campaigns in focus

So, our winning campaigns have clearly earned the green light from the Global Marketing Awards, but what actually went into them? Let’s break down our work with TIMOCOM, Pool Chlor Shop and Zava med to get a closer look at why we won.

Peak Ace and Pool-Chlor-Shop – Swimming against the COVID-19 tide

Pool-Chlor-Shop is a Germany-based swimming pool shop based in Germany, which saw an increase in business with the lockdown, as more and more of us had to stay at home. We’re really proud of our work with Pool Chlor Shop for many reasons, and the acclaim that it’s received over the past year has been amazing.

The aims of our campaign were to attract new customers, improve the customer satisfaction rate, and work on security-related technical features. As part of our strategy, we used PPC campaigns to cover the relevant search terms and reach more users, CRO-optimised landing pages to increase trust and cookie consent opt-in banners to gather data.

The team thought and worked quickly to make the most of the sudden increased interest in pool supplies. Our dynamite strategy and automated campaign creation approach ensured a tremendous boost in customers!

We boosted click coverage to 120% above peer group average and increased revenue by 131% YoY!

The trust and collaboration of our client also helped ensure the success of our teams. Perhaps the most astonishing thing is that if there hadn’t been an industry-wide shortage of pools, we could have achieved even more revenue.

Robert Dicke, CEO of Pool Chlor Shop GbR, said: “2020 was a record-breaking year for us – we’re looking forward to breaking another one with Peak Ace this year!”

Peak Ace and TIMOCOM – Rebuilding Paid Search from Lisbon to Moscow

TIMOCOM is Europe’s leading procurement platform for transport contracts, and we were delighted to help them rejuvenate their paid search channel.

We developed a strategy based on a detailed audit of TIMOCOM’s 25 country-wide campaigns. The plan was to localise languages, work in our MarTech and CRO teams to implement a new structure, and utilise digital analytics in order to boost conversions.

Ultimately, our strategy was a great success. By the end of our work with TIMOCOM, we had structured campaigns for 24 languages, which are now live in 28 countries. Ultimately, we saw 831 campaigns, and 7,099 ad groups and ads to completion!

Our client was as pleased as we were, saying that “both operationally and in terms of consulting, Peak Ace shows us new ways to get even more out of our PPC campaigns”.

Peak Ace and Zava – Trust me, I’m an online doctor

Zava is a European telehealth provider; a kind of online doctor, providing you with prescriptions, medications and tests from your home. They asked us to create a data-driven content strategy for them, and we were glad to do so.

Through a lot of research and a great partnership with a reputable marketing research institute, we produced data on a range of overlooked medical topics, which then served as the heart of our content pieces. The pieces covered subjects ranging from how childless women can face ostracism (whether they are voluntarily childless or not), to the digitisation of the medical field.

By the end of the partnership we had improved Zava’s profile and increased its authority score. We also saw a huge rise in media mentions.

    Our client was similarly pleased:

“Thanks to our productive collaboration, smart use of digital PR and synergies between us and Peak Ace, the campaign was so successful we can’t wait to roll it out internationally.”

Congratulations to all our fellow nominees and award winners!
