Double-win for Peak Ace at the 2020 European Content Awards

Pop the champagne! In a fantastic start to 2020, we scooped up two prizes at last night’s European Content Awards, for both Retail Content Campaign of the Year and Social Media Content Campaign of the Year.

It is an honour for the whole company to see our hard work recognised and a wonderful achievement for the Content Marketing and Performance Social Advertising teams. Working with our clients Yours Clothing and Sephora, they developed and executed truly innovative strategies to engage users.

    EU Content Awards 2020

This was the first annual European Content Awards, run in association with the European Search Awards where we won last year for Best Integrated Campaign. Besides taking home our two prizes, we were especially proud to have been nominated for a total of 12 awards across four campaigns. It was a stunning acknowledgement from our colleagues that we are consistently shaping awards-level performance marketing and content strategies.

Dominique Harris, Head of Content Marketing, said:

Wow! I am so thrilled on behalf of the Content Marketing and Performance Social Advertising teams, who worked around the clock to produce the winning campaigns. We are all delighted here at Peak Ace, not just with the wins but with the nominations too. 12 is a first for us! To be shortlisted alongside such incredible work from others in the industry is truly an honour.

Here is the full list of campaigns and awards we won for:

    • Yours Clothing: “Body Shaming – We Don’t Need to Hide” for:
      • Retail Content Campaign of the Year
    • Sephora – “The SEPHORA Germany Glow-up: Making over a beauty behemoth with social media” for:
      • Social Media Content Campaign of the Year

The judges were very impressed by both the award-winning campaigns, calling our work with Sephora “thoroughly detailed” as well as praising its “specific objectives”, “strong strategy” and “very impressive results for the client”. Meanwhile, the judges said our entry with Yours Clothing “showed extremely well-defined goals, with strong results that beat their targets and got the client from the bottom of the authority scale in its sector to near the top”.

Having won a phenomenal two awards, we had a whole host of Peak Acers in attendance at the ceremony in Poland. As well as our CEO & Co-Founder Bastian Grimm and Head of Content Marketing Dominique Harris, our Department Lead for Paid Social Paul Drägert, and part of our Content Marketing team Clara, Laura, Maria and Eva all came to Krakow to show support for each other and their colleagues.

Bastian Grimm, CEO & Co-Founder of Peak Ace, was thrilled:

What an achievement! I am so proud of all the hard work and ingenuity our teams have put into these campaigns. Of course, none of this would be possible without our clients – without their trust and collaboration, we would never have accomplished such a stunning result. Many congratulations to everyone involved!

    About the European Content Awards

Run in association with the European Search Awards the European Content Awards are one of Europe’s highest accolades for content marketing. The judges were hand-picked from the most esteemed figures in the online marketing world, selecting as winners the campaigns that demonstrated the most impressive teamwork, creativity, execution and tangible results.

The 2020 European Content Awards were presented at Krakow’s Stara Zajezdnia (Old Tram Depot). Dating back to 1913, the UNESCO-listed building was used a functioning tram depot until the early 1960s, now reborn as a restaurant and microbrewery.
